Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Lipsum.pro uses as few as it can.

What is used

Your preferences. The site remembers your chosen language, amount, output format and light or dark theme so you do not have to set them again. This is kept in your browser's local storage, never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and usage in aggregate. It does not identify you.

Advertising. Google AdSense may set cookies to measure ad performance and, with consent, to personalise ads.

Controlling cookies

Every browser can block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not affect the generator, which runs entirely in your browser and needs no cookies to work.

Consent

If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland you will be asked for consent before any advertising or analytics cookies are set. That prompt is Google's own certified consent tool, served with the advertising, and it records your choice against the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

Until you answer it, nothing is stored for advertising or analytics. You can reopen the prompt and change your answer at any time using the privacy settings link Google shows on the page, and you can separately opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Your language, amount, format and theme preferences are unaffected by this choice. They are not cookies, they never leave your browser, and the generator works whatever you decide.

If you are in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, a separate notice offers a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information option instead of a consent prompt, because those laws work on an opt-out basis rather than an opt-in one.
